Lindsay Lehr is a travel and adventure enthusiast, passionate about discovering our world’s natural beauty. Her travels first took her to Buenos Aires in 2006, where she lived and ran a business for five years. While in Argentina, Lindsay explored many of South America’s natural wonders including the lakes and glaciers of Patagonia, the Andes mountains, the jungles of Ecuador and Peru and the Brazilian coast and beaches. She firmly believes the more we experience other cultures, learn new languages, and give and receive hospitality from strangers, the more humble, kind, and compassionate we become as a people.
Since moving back to the US in 2012, Lindsay’s passion for Latin America remains as strong as ever. She speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese and is pursuing a career in market research for companies operating in Latin America. Her job places her in a unique position, since the interests of her clients (usually multinational corporations) are often at odds with her personal interests in conservation. In the throes of the business world, Lindsay grapples with these complex issues on a daily basis.
Lindsay is an avid scuba diver and has pursued diving all over the world, including Malaysia, the Galapagos, the Italian coast, the Florida Keys, and the Yucatan peninsula. She is also an active hiker and backpacker, currently enjoying the Eastern Sierras and national parks near the San Francisco Bay Area, where she now resides.
